Jill
"Hello. My name is Jill Dollens. I have been with Heavenly Care Kennels since September 2010. My main responsibilities include taking care of the animals and our customers. I do baths, let-outs, minor paper work, customer service, walk, and help make sure the kennel is cleaned and sanitized for our guests. I consider my dog my baby because we are very close. Her name is Sugar, and she is a Boxer mix. I am currently a student at Harrison College where I am studying for my Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology to be an RVT (registered veterinary technician). I enjoy taking Sugar to the park/creek and spending time with my friends and family. I really enjoy helping others because it makes me feel good. I have several years experience in assisting the elderly and developmentally disabled of all ages and teaching young children to swim. I like working with Heavenly Care Kennels a great deal because I love working with the animals and helping them look and feel their best. Heavenly Care Kennels is much better than other kennels because we offer a lot more TLC and one-on-one attention to our guests."
Dayna
"My name is Dayna Cancel. I have a menagerie of responsibilities at the kennel. Some of those responsibilities include the beautification of the kennel and surrounding areas, helping customers, and spending quality time with the animals at Heavenly Care Kennels. I live in rural Westfield. My two boys attend Westfield schools, where my husband and I enjoy going to athletic events. My family attends Sheridan Six Points Wesleyan Church. My family also includes Dexter, a Pug, Carly, a nine week old Lab mix, and Josie, a Brown Lab mix. I graduated from Westfield High School in 1985, where I played alto saxophone in the marching band, and I also played basketball. I attended Huntington University, where I achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management in 1989. I spent many years creating a safe environment in a therapy pool for special needs children which I enjoyed a great deal. I am so excited to be part of the Heavenly Care Kennels team and am looking forward to meeting all or the 'babies' that visit. I am currently certified in CPR and first aid for the Professional Rescuer."
Sara
"Hi everyone! My name is Sara Stevenson. I have been with Heavenly Care Kennels since January 2011. I take care of most of the marketing for Heavenly Care Kennels including thier webpage and Facebook page. I also do a little accounting and some research. I don't have any pets right now unless you count my two children. We hope to be able to get a dog in the near future. I am married and a full time student at Harrison College. I have an AAS in accounting and another AAS in business management. In December, 2011, I will also be the proud holder of two additional degrees with an AAS in business finance and an AAS in business marketing. I enjoy spending time with my family, doing Zumba, reading, walking, and going out with my girlfriends. I am very dedicated, organized, detail-oriented, and a quick learner. Among other reasons, I chose to work with Heavenly Care Kennels because of the high quality care they offer their guests, their dedicated customer service, and the passion each person at the kennel displays for the animals and the business. My favorite part about working with Heavenly Care Kennels is that I can physically see that my knowledge and skills have a positive impact on the business. Heavenly Care Kennels is probably the best kennel that I have ever seen. Unlike most other kennels, the animals in their care actually receive plentiful human interaction and are not locked up in cages all day long."
